The Imperial War Museum in London owns the Civic Banner bearing the coat of arms of Limerick which was confiscated by the British authorities at the time Easter Uprising 1916.

We were asked to mount this Banner for display and carrying this work out in the stores of the Imperial War Museum in London.

The Banner went on display in March 2016 at Limerick Museum as part of the exhibition to celebrate the role in the Easter Uprising of 1916 in this year of Centenary Celebrations.
