We were delighted to welcome Geoffrey Probert, the High Sheriff of Suffolk, to our Studio on Wednesday, 4th October. Geoffrey had expressed an interest in having a tour of our working textile conservation studio, where we could explain in detail the objects we were working on at that time. During a relaxed coffee and biscuits moment, we enjoyed answering Geoffrey’s questions about our profession and showing him the history behind some of our prized pieces of work. He later quoted on his social media page “Few in the country can match these ladies’ skills – and patience”! We appreciated you coming to see us Geoffrey; it was a pleasure to meet you and learn more about the High Sheriff of Suffolk. Thank you for showing an interest in our craft.
